Right - side facade of the Opera House building. In 1903, a fire burned down the old building Lille Opera. A competition to design a new theater won the architect Louis-Marie Cordonnier, inspired by the architecture of the Opera Garnier in Paris and Italian teatrov.Opera de Lille was built in the period from 1907 to 1914. and officially opened in 1923.
