The rue Chénier at the junction with the Rue St. Foy in the 2nd arrondissment, in 1914. The name honors the poet André Chénier. At that time there were still a wine cellar ("caves"), a bleaching ("blanchisserie"), a restaurant, a basket-maker ("vannerie"), a hotel and a grocery store. Only the hotel still exists today.
