View of the Los Angeles Central Library on the southeast corner of South Flower and West 5th Streets in October 1974. The library was designed by architects Bertram G. Goodhue and Carlton M. Winslow and built 1922-1926. In the foreground excavation is being done for what will be the Bonaventure Hotel. The Biltmore Hotel and The Church of the Open Door/Biola Institute are in the background.
