The church of the 5th Rifle Brigade was located on the Augustovsky highway, near the location of the regiments of the brigade. Years of construction 1904-1906. It accommodated up to 2 thousand people. After 1918, the temple was transferred to the Catholics, in 1923 he moved to military pastoralism. Then the temple was rebuilt. During World War 2, the temple was partially destroyed. In 1944, during the retreat of the German troops, the bell tower, towering above the main entrance, was blown up. During the works, finished in 1958, they did not begin to rebuild it, but increased 2 towers in the corners of the front of the temple, which gave it an even more Catholic look. Currently, it is the parish church of St. Peter and St. Paul.
