Tabernacle in Pacoima nears 7th birthday

Photograph article dated November 19, 1949 partially reads, "Evangelistic Tabernacle, 13232 Kagel Canyon St., Pacoima, will celebrate its seventh anniversary on Sunday. Special music featuring Mrs. Richard Barrows as soloist will be presented. Early members of the church will speak. The church was begun in 1942 on land donated by the Clifton Taylors. Today the buildings, church and recreation hall, are completed and are valued at close to $50,000. They have been constructed by volunteer labor, with free materials and funds and are free of debt.
