La Roche-Guyon
The old castle of the XII-XVI century of 1659 and still belongs to the family de Larocheca (La Rochefoucauld). In 1944, Rommel headquarters were located in the castle. On August 18, the Germans were evacuated, and on August 25, La Roche-Guyon was subjected to useless allied bombing: 64 bombs fell into the village, 8 of whom got into the castle. After many years, the Larancy Family restored the castle. Since 1994, it is open to the public. Site Château de la Roche-Guyon
