Aerial view of Excelsior Union High School, located at 15711 Pioneer Blvd. in Norwalk view is looking northeast. Pioneer Blvd. is diagonally, middle right to upper left Alondra Blvd. is diagonally, middle left to upper right (in front of the school) Barnwall St. is diagonally, middle left to Pioneer Blvd. Excelsior Drive is diagonally, upper left to upper right and Maidstone Ave. (to left of football field) is diagonally from middle left, curving to bottom right. A small portion of Cerritos College football field is visible at lower left and 166th St. is diagonally at bottom right corner. Two churches are located at center left: at 15213 Pioneer Blvd. (later the Hindu Temple Swaminarayan Mandir Isso), and at 15333 Pioneer Blvd. (later the Church of Christ). Excelsior Union High School cornerstone was laid 1923. Photograph dated April 12, 1960.
