Crépy-en-Valois
This is a "peaceful" ruin, no one bombed the church. The ancient building by the end of the XVIII century. It came in a rather dilapidated state. And then the great French revolution happened. The revolutionaries transformed the church into the temple of the mind. Lead slabs from the roof were removed. The roof began to flow, the walls began to crumble. In 1799, the arch collapsed, and for security purposes the church was closed. In 1805-1810 The building was partially demolished.
