The original medieval synagogue founded before 1390 on Merry Street no. 3 in Znojmo Jewish Quarter. In 1454 or 1455, after the expulsion of Jews from Znojmo, think again and was converted to a Catholic chapel. Bernardina. After enlargement, the Protestant teachings of Luther in the 16th century around the city Protestants converted it to his prayer. In the late 16th century but it was soon changed to the arms depot and shortly thereafter on a malt. Malthouse and the adjacent farmyard was donated to the city Clarissian nuns neighboring monastery. Subsequently, the malt house was demolished and in its place was the night prayer of nuns. Synagogue as such completely disappeared completely, and the residues were converted. In the early 17th century they were the closest nearby synagogue converted to residential houses, preserved here a ritual Jewish bath. The Jewish bath is still to be found under the trade STELLA small objects.
