Built in the XII-XIV centuries, Tsalenzhihsky Cathedral is a cross-domed church with a narthex and three arcaded galleries, two of which are on the southern and northern sides of the temple was converted into a family chapel genus Dadiani rulers Mingrelian principality. The church is surrounded by a wall with a two-storey bell tower in the northwest corner. In the western corner of the courtyard are the ruins of the palace of Dadiani. To the west of the church dug underground passage, 40-50 meters long and 3-4 meters in height.
