Netherlands > North Holland > AmsterdamAround 1930, everything was demolished and in the early 1930s the street was renamed: its northwestern part up to houses 68 and 73 (at the intersection with the current Montelbaanstraat) began to be called Nieuwe Jonkerstraat, the southeastern part from houses 70 and 75 was slightly shifted to the south and became a continuation of the Oudeschans embankment. For the location of these houses and the old street configuration, see the 1909 map.
