Vedere dinspre bd. 1848 (actual bd. Bratianu), peste Piata Balcescu si inspre Piata Romana. Comunistii nu au distrus doar monumentul Bratianu, ci au ras si rondul, transformand intersectia intr-una banala, in cruce. Tramvaiul deja nu mai circula pe axa est-vest (bd. Republicii). View of 1848 boulevard. (at present time Bratianu Boulevard) below and to the Balcescu Square towards Roman Square. The communist authorities demolished the monument to Bratian, transformed the square from a circular to a banal road intersection. And there are already no tram tracks along the east-west axis (Blvd Republic).
