In April 1909, Wilbur Wright performed demonstration flights on his “Flyer” at the Chentocell Roman airport and taught the art of piloting the first Italian pilots - Mario Calderoro and Umberto Savoy. This photograph is considered the first in the history of a photograph of a flying airplane, which was taken not from the ground, but from the air - the photographer was in the gondola of a balloon.
