France > Ile-de-France > Paris > ParisVictory Square (fr Place des Victoires.) - a small Parisian area north-east of the Palais Royal. The initiator of its creation was the Marshal de La Feuillade, who after the conclusion of World Nimvegenskogo bought and demolished the surrounding houses, commissioned the architect Jules Hardouin-Mansart break and build up the area with the equestrian statue of King Louis XIV in the middle.
