The Church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit in Minsk, built in 1633 It - Peter and Paul Cathedral. Not to be confused with the Peter and Paul Cathedral. Iznachalno Uniate church was and was part of the monastery complex of Bernardine. Built in Vilnius Baroque style, it was a single-nave church without a steeple with a five-sided apse, the overlapped cross vaults resting on massive internal kontrforsy.Uniatskie monasteries were closed in 1795, and from Svyatoduhovsky church did Peter and Paul Orthodox Cathedral. In the male body was placed gymnasium. In 1835, all this all burned down, after which the building complex of the former Basilian monastery finally lose (except the female body), its original appearance.
