Zastava Esseyon.Zastava located in the Maurienne valley (Savoie). It includes four of the fort and the redoubt (Fort Victor-Emmanuel - Fort Marie-Christine - Fort Charles-Félix - Fort Charles-Albert - Redoute Marie-Thérèse), which were created Sardinians at the beginning of the 19th century to protect the Piedmont from the French invasion. Maurienne was not included in the part of France until 1860, as part of a political agreement with Napoleon III, that has led to the unification of Italy. Despite this, the Maurienne valley and Tarantaise classified as French cities and lands.
