Žatec
It stood on the north side of Žižka square in front of the brewery, which owned it and for many years tried to demolish it. In 1707, the Žatec councilor and pharmacist Johann Clemens Calderar bequeathed money for the construction of the Loreto chapel in his will. In the years 1713 – 1715, the construction was carried out by his widow, who chose the then abandoned site near the former castle. Loreta was built according to the project of Martin Loschy. On May 24, 1713, the foundation stone was laid and in 1715 the completed building was consecrated. Construction costs reached 1,641 zlotys and 45 kr. In 1738, the chapel was damaged by fire, but it was repaired in a short time, and in 1744 eight statues of angels by Johann Karl Vetter were installed on the facade. In 1786 it was abolished as part of the reforms of Joseph II, in 1791 it was sold and changed into a granary, later rebuilt into residential house No. 80.
