Looking southeast from near the intersection of San Rio Drive (foreground) and Crescent Avenue (left). The Tobin Park and Pool Homes show tent is seen in the background on the right at Lincoln Avenue and Via Vista Drive. Directly west of the show (center, right) is the Lincoln Drive-In (demolished in 1996). A large housing tract is seen north of Crescent Avenue on the left, and in the center is another development showing the streets laid out and some housing foundations in place. Photographed for Irwin Advertising Agency Model Homes & Home Show on November 22, 1955. Between November 5 to December 4, 1955, four model homes of the Lincoln House and Garden Park and Pool Club development built by Tobin Co. were showcased. Tobin's Park and Pool plan was promoted to include a private community park surrounded by homes, set to be sold for $14,000, with a 70-foot swimming pool, a recreation building, and three play areas scattered over a two-acre parcel.
