To the northwest of the hospital is the Los Angeles County Juvenile Hall. Photograph dated May 4, 1957. L.A. County Hospital and USC Medical School were first affiliated in 1885, so the hospital is commonly known as Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, as well as County USC.
