This is a photo of the Memorial Stadium at The University of Kansas. It was taken on the Campanile Hill in Lawrence, KS in 1928. As you can see the stadium was much smaller than it is today, for there is many more seats added now. There is also a box view section, large score board and colorful paint on the field. In the distance, those homes are no longer there today, instead they have been replaced by the "Here" apartments and a surrounding parking lot.
