Exterior view of the original Congregational Church of the Messiah building, located at Washington Boulevard and Van Ness in the Arlington Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles. The Congregational Church of the Messiah was organized on June 27, 1907, and was located on Washington Boulevard and Van Ness until the early 1950s. In 1953 the church was relocated to Westchester, where groundbreaking services were held on Easter Sunday 1954.
