In 1858 two wealthy families gave the commune of Vanves plot of 400 sq. m for the construction of the Catholic tserkvi.V 1861 was laid the foundation stone of the chapel of the parish of Saint-Remy de Vanves. The building in the neo-Romanesque style, it was built in 1862 according to the plans of the architect Claude Naysanta.V 1873 chapel becomes a church with its parish and kyure.V 1930 receives the name of Notre-Dame de la Médaille miraculeuse.
