The Ipswich Society(0078w) Hyde Park Corner early 1970sThis northerly looking view of Hyde Park Corner shows Lady Lane in the left foreground with St Georges St going north. The buildings in Crown St from the corner of St Georges St to the Congregational Church (demolished in 1972) on the corner of High St have yet to be cleared for completion of the dual carriageway project, The housing in the right background has already been cleared in readiness for the construction of the multi storey car park (built in 1973 and now demolished) and the Crown House office development (built 1975). This collection donated by the Wade family.
