Looking southwest across the street towards the Century Wilshire Hotel, located at 10776 Wilshire Boulevard in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles. Known as the Sovereign Arms Apartments when it opened in 1950, this French style, 66-room structure was designed by William G. Chandler. It was later demolished and replaced with the Carlyle on Wilshire, a luxury high-rise residential building.
