09/09/1959 Inauguration of Honor grove in Gera. At the inauguration of an honorary grove for the fallen soldiers of the Soviet Army gave working people on 08/05/1959 nearly ten thousand of Bezierkshauptstadt a joyful confession of friendship with the Soviet people. 14000 volunteer hours the population helped Baud this system. The modeled on the famous Dresden sculptor Prof. Rogge cast monument shows a Soviet soldier with a banner of a German worker reaches the hand of brotherhood.
