The dating needs to be clarified .______________________________________ Theater building was launched by the famous merchant Kharasov in September 1879. The detachment was completed in 1880. On November 18, 1894, the City Directorate decided to redeem the theater building from Kharazov. In 1946, the theater building almost completely burned down. The restoration of the theater took 10 months. Only one wall has been preserved from the old building - the one that is visible in this photo. After the restoration, the Kutaissky Theater occupied the building until November 6, 1955, until the new -operating theater building on the Central Square was opened. The building was occupied by the Tbilisi Theater, the building was occupied by the building Opera and ballet named after Zakaria Paliashvili. Restoration work in the building of the Kutaisian State Opera Theater began on January 8, 2010. Theater was again radically rebuilt and opened on December 29, 2010.
