Théâtre du Palais-Royal (French Théâtre du Palais-Royal.) - Theater on the street Monpase in Paris. Originally, the theater was known as the Theater de Beaujolais - puppet theater for 750 spectators. The building was built in 1784 by architect Victor Louis. In 1790 the Theater de Beaujolais rented Mademoiselle Montanse, he became known as a theater Montanse. Mademoiselle Montanse staging plays and Italian opera, translated into French. In 1791 she was hired by Victor Louis for the reconstruction of the scene and the auditorium, which after reorganization became accommodate 1300 spectators. After the decree of Napoleon's theaters in 1807 introduced significant restrictions on the types of public shows, theater performances Montanse were acrobats, dancing on a tightrope, presenting with trained dogs and Neapolitan puppets. In 1812, the theater was transformed into a cafe with live entertainment programmoy.
