Aerial photograph showing the Foster and Kleiser Company plant, located at 1550 W. Washington Blvd. view is looking southwest towards W. 20th St. (running diagonally from middle left ro upper right), Vermont Ave. (upper left), and Interstate 10 (upper left). Photograph dated May 6, 1967. In 1918, the Foster and Kleiser Los Angeles Branch opened at 230 S. San Pedro Street near Civic Center in 1920, the plant moved to the location seen here. The Foster and Kleiser plant structures and some neighboring ones have since been demolished. In 2007, West Adams Preparatory High School opened on the site of the former plant.
