The building was constructed from 1903 to 1908. author of the project was the architect Alexander S. Rogoysky. Initially, there was a monastery, hospital, and since 1912 - the Orthodox seminary, and in a separate building a small church of St. Andrew. Since 1921, this building housed the Georgian Agricultural Institute, and later - the medical corps of the 9th city hospital and the Center for Advanced Training of doctors ..
