A 20 mile speed limit is painted on Wilshire Blvd. at the corner of La Cienega. Across from Berk's restaurant is Sontag Drug Store containing a soda fountain, grill and coffee shop and built in the Streamline Moderne style. It was one of the largest drug stores in America when constructed. Berk's is advertising theater specials from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. at popular prices! On the left is the Fox Wilshire Theater built in 1930 and designed by architect S. Charles Lee. A white truck with Chinese characters is stopped in traffic.
