This photo, historic as few others, is the departure from the factory of La Hispano Switzerland (later Hispano-Aviación) in Triana, of the first prototype of the HS-42 (the wing part) with some workers to prepare the assembly of the plane in Tablada. It was carried completely in two trucks and had been manufactured within that urban area on San Jacinto Street, whose façade remains almost intact even today. It was 1942 and it was the first airplane of its own design, which would give way to a series of devices soldiers who were always, with better or worse luck, in the Spanish Air Force, and some were also exported.
