Dobrá Voda u Českých Budějovic
Dobrá Voda, Church of Painful Virgin Mary. In the prominent position, the Baroque church in Dobrá Voda, the work of one of the greatest architects of the Czech Baroque, Kilian Ignác Dienzenhofer, raises on the outskirts of České Budějovice. It was built in 1733—1735 and after the decoration was consecrated on 18 October 1739. It has an oval floor plan, which in the east is attached to the chancel and in the west the entrance vestibule, above which is located by a crust. Baroque sculptures are located on the facade. The painter Václav Vavřinec Reiner, whose wall painting is dated by the era and chronogram until 1735, participated in the decoration of the interior.
