In the 16th century, a large-scale reconstruction was carried out. In 1703, the palace became the property of the Loredan family. In 1806 the building became the property of the Countess of Campagna Peccana and was converted into a hotel. In 1867, the palazzo came under the jurisdiction of the municipality of Venice.
