Carnegie Hall and a much smaller building housing Smith and Stage Apothecaries is partially visible on the northeast corner of the intersection. The streets are almost completely deserted, although a single pedestrian can be seen in front of the 57th street steps of Carnegie Hall and one horse-drawn carriage is traveling northward on 7th Avenue.
