G.G.Adelhanova (1848-1917) tannery was opened in 1875. Equipped with the latest technology, it has radically changed the situation in the production of leather garments and leather-making, which by that time in Tbilisi introduced a multitude of small handicraft industries. In 1885, the factory was opened a workshop for the manufacture of footwear, saddlery and suitcases products.
