Interior courtyard view of the Pico House, sometimes called "Old Pico House," located at 430 North Main Street. Designed by Ezra F. Kysor and built by Governor Pio Pico in 1869-70, the structure served as a lavish 80-room hotel. As part of its current renovation, workers are shown here restoring the brick patio. Pico House is listed as a California Historical Landmark (No. 159) and a National Historic Landmark (NPS-72000231). Photo dated: June 30, 1969.
