Rows of skis await pupils at Snow Valley in the Big Bear Lake region above San Bernardino. Several inches of snow-and plenty of instructors-are promised prospective skiers at Angeles Crest, Big Pines, Wrightwood, Mt. Baldy and Inyo-Mono areas.
