In the 18th century it was the end of the street Clay, which had access to the tree-lined streets (now - Pushkinskaya). At the beginning of the 19th century this part of the Clay Street disconnected, calling is not the street, and curve lane, and then - lane Shchastny as big estate here has got family General Shchastny (right in the photo is visible to the manor house and the fence general Shchastny). After construction on Pushkinskaya Street New City Theater (1856) Lane Shchastny reconnected to Clay Street, which was renamed the Theater Street. In 1979, this part of the street once again disconnected from the theater and was connected to a part of the street Lazo, which had access to the street Most Chudnovsky (now - Chernyakhovsky). In 1992, together with the attached portion of the street Lazo, received the name of Admiral Street Shchastny.
