THAILAND. Bangkok. The celebration of the golden anniversary of the accession to the throne of King Rama IX took place on the Sanam Luang field in Bangkok. In the Royal Grand Palace of Wat Phra Kaeo, in the background, a special ceremony was held in which the King and Queen participated, as well as members of the royal family. The royal guards stood frozen in places throughout the ceremony, adding further dignity to the occasion.
