Johannisstraße with a view to the north-west, in a photography by Georg Bartels from 1895. In the picture in the middle to right (Johannisstraße No. 11), the back of the Oranienburgerstrasse No. 67 property can be seen. The recording was taken shortly before the demolition of the house in which Alexander von Humboldt lived between 1843 and 1859, but from 1844 to 1861 the house belonged to the banker Joseph Mendelssohn, then the go. Medical councilor Dr. Carl Angelstein.
