Dordrecht Town Hall was built by Flemish merchants in 1383 as a fabric trading room. The bells are still hanging 1449 and 1514. From 1544 the building is in the use of the city authorities. Rebuilt in the XVII century. In a classic style. It was built in front of the town in 1679, the facade and the ladder with lions date back to the XIX century. Lions, in particular, 1841 on the rooftop wooden tower 1835-43. The side wing against the right part dates back to about 1900 G.V. 1975. The City Hall moved to a new building, and this is left for solemn events, such as wedding.
