The New York Athletic Club with its exterior practically completed, Seventh Avenue, east side, from 58th to 59th Streets. Demolition work is just beginning on four of the Spanish Flats, the Cordova and the Granada (shown at the left), and the Barcelona and the Salamanca (on 58th Street, and not shown in this view). They will be replaced by the Essex House. June 26, 1928.
