The first troupeIn the photo from left to right the big heads Celedón, Pintor, Cachán and Escachapobres in front of the Palace of the Provincial Council. «The group of Giants and Big Heads of Vitoria-Gasteiz, today also of Caballos y Sotas, was created on August 3 of 1917 with the addition of four giants and four big heads to the festive material. The first giants were two couples of villagers, and the big heads were characters of the time. The price was 440 pesetas for each giant and 30 pesetas for each big head.
