This castle was built in 1557 for Anne de Laval, who was a cousin of the French King Henry II. In 1656 Claude de Aquino gets Kombremon. And in 1754 the castle takes possession of his great-grandson Pierre d'Ezneval, known as the "President Aquino". On his behalf, the architect Charles Thibault restored farm buildings, stables, a chapel of St Max, as well as built a greenhouse and a "little castle" used for tea.
