Russian dune is the highest on the local coast. Summer Villa RusSenduin was built according to the project of the Van Gendt brothers in the moderate style of the Amsterdam school. The blockage, August Janssen, was one of the co -founders of the Nassau Bergen Hotel, knew this area well and bought 13 hectares of dune territory for the construction of a summer mansion. Construction was carried out during the PMV, in 1916–1917. Building materials were brought in steam tram, and then delivered horses from the station to the top of the high dune. It was necessary to overcome even more difficulties - the building at the top of the dune was higher than the water tower, so I had to come up with a design to increase water pressure. The villa was distinguished by two towers: a large square and polygonal corner with conical spire. The lobe was richly decorated with marble, wood carving and stained -glass windows. One soon after the construction of the construction of A.Jansen died (04/10/1918).
