Date: 07/08/1908. In 2013, the 155th anniversary of the birth of the remarkable Swiss photographer Fred Boisson, thanks to which Greece came to life in black and white photographs a hundred years ago, such as no one remembers it. In the 1903-1930s, Fred Boisson made several trips to poor, but so beautiful Greece, and captured it in hundreds of pictures. Swiss photographer is considered a key figure for the development of photography in Greece of the twentieth century. In 1913, a hundred years ago, Fred Boisson, together with his friend and colleague Daniel Bo Bovi and the Greek shepherd Christos Kokkalos, was the first to conquer the highest peak of Olympus - Mitikas. Swiss phyllin made his last trip to Greece on Mount Athos in 1930, leaving a legacy to the Greeks and Europeans as amazing, inspiring photographs of the sacred peninsula of Orthodoxy.
