The building of the central Bristol clinic was built in 1935 according to the project of architect C. F. W. Dening. This building of brown brick and Portland stone was erected to provide comprehensive medical services to residents of Bristol. It had a general department, a children's and dental department, as well as a separate tuberculosis wing. The building had separate entrances to the male and female departments, a service entrance for staff and an entrance to the dispensary. More: retained its profile.
