In 1903 there was a ceremonial laying of the first stone of the new church of the Three Hierarchs Orthodox Church - St. Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian, John Chrysostom. Construction took place under the project and under the supervision of a court counselor, a provincial architect P. Kalinin. Construction of the cathedral lasted 11 years and was completed in 1914.
