St Margarets Green 1950s The 17th Century Saracen PH on the north east corner of the Green. It was closed in 1960 and became showrooms for Revetts (cars and motorcycles). In 1984 it became a serviced business center and has remained as such ever since. In Victorian times the pub was a major terminal for many of the carriers carts that served outlying villages. This collection was donated by Peter Underwood, founder member of the Society, ex-Chairman and Vice-President
