The Gothic cathedral of the XIII - XV centuries, the main facade (photo) - a masterpiece of flaming Gothic (XV century). During a five -day siege in June 1940, the city was badly damaged. 40% of the old city lay in ruins. In the cathedral damaged as a result of the bombing on June 19, 1940, there was a fire. During the war, temporary roofs were built over Nepom, which were finally replaced only in the 1980s.
